Method to Import Credit Card Transactions into QuickBooks desktop & online
Method 1- Import credit card transaction manually into the QuickBooks online.
· For importing credit card transaction you need first to download the transaction file from your credit card company.
· For this, browse your credit card company online.
· Login your account.
· Now locate the option to download my account transaction.
· Select the transfer file and import it into the QuickBooks.
· For this now open the QuickBooks desktop software in your system.
· Import a transaction file click on banking.
· If you have already account on it select your account and click “down the arrow” next to the Link Account button.
· Click on upload from file.
· Look for the browse button and click on it to connect for the QuickBooks web connect file.
· Then click next to open it.
· Review that QuickBooks Web Connect file you are going to import such as filename, Account ID, Account Type, and Date range.

Method 2- Import credit card transaction manually into the QuickBooks desktop
You have already credit card transaction file you have to follow these steps to import it manually into the QuickBooks desktop.
· Open your QuickBooks desktop software. Click on list then click on charts of accounts.
If you see yellow strike icon there then you need to first remove it because this icon show that this account is online linked to direct download.
· To disconnect it right click on Edit account.
· Then click on Bank feed setting and then click on Deactivate all Online Services.
· Now check yellow icon is showing or not now.
